Course description
IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM) 6.2 lets you manage your systems graphically, dynamically, and flexibly, with a browser-enabled interface that helps transform systems management data into information you need to keep systems up and running.
Audience
This is an intermediate level course for system administrators who administer ITM 6.2.
Prerequisites
The following skills and areas of knowledge are required:
- Familiarity of ITM architecture
- Ability to use and navigate the IBM Tivoli Enterprise Portal
- Working knowledge of how to access situation events, situation event details, and status changes.
- Ability to manage situation events effectively using ITM
- Experience with the IBM Tivoli desktop
- Working knowledge of system administration of Linux and Windows 2000
